Privacy Policy

1. Who we are
“We” refers to OrientCDS Private Limited, the developer and licensor of the Orient AXLR8 & ACTV8 Eclipse plug-in (collectively, the “Software”). For privacy questions, contact neo@genesispro.ai.
2. Scope
This policy covers:
- The Software when installed in your Eclipse IDE.
- This website (aiplugin.genesispro.ai) and the linked Google Form used to request a license.
- Email correspondence you initiate with us.
It does not cover third-party services you connect the Software to — in particular AI providers (OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, GitHub Models via your GitHub PAT, and Codex CLI via your ChatGPT subscription) and your own SAP system. Their privacy policies govern data you send to them.
3. What data we receive
3.1 Data the Software processes locally only (not transmitted to us)
The following stays on your machine. We never see it:
- Your ABAP source code, transports, ATC findings, and other workspace contents.
- Your SAP system credentials and session cookies (stored in Eclipse’s secure storage).
- Your AI provider API keys (stored in Eclipse preferences).
- Your AI conversation history and the local AI audit trail (
ai_audit_trail.jsonin your Eclipse state folder). - Your license key after activation (stored in OS user preferences).
3.2 Data you actively send to AI providers (not us)
When you invoke an AI feature (chat, refactor, generate, ATC fix, etc.), the Software sends the relevant ABAP source and your prompt directly from your machine to the AI provider you selected. That data flows under the AI provider’s privacy policy, not ours. We have no record of these requests.
3.3 Data we do receive

4. Why we process your data (lawful bases under GDPR / DPDP Act)
- Performance of contract — issuing and validating your license, providing support to paid customers.
- Legitimate interest — anonymous website analytics and access-log retention for security.
- Consent — if you submit the license request form or send us an email, you consent to our using that data to respond to you.
- Legal obligation — tax records, statutory record-keeping under Indian law where applicable.
5. Who we share data with
We do not sell your data. We share with:
- Google LLC — for Google Forms (license request) and Google Analytics (anonymous site stats).
- GoDaddy / Apache hosting — the hosting provider that serves this website and collects access logs.
- Email infrastructure — the mail provider that handles correspondence to and from
neo@genesispro.ai. - Indian tax / regulatory authorities — if compelled by valid legal process.
We do not share with AI providers, advertisers, brokers, or other third parties for any purpose.
6. International transfers
OrientCDS Private Limited is incorporated in India. Hosting and Google services may transfer data across borders. Where you are in the EU/EEA or UK, those transfers rely on the standard contractual clauses or equivalent safeguards published by the respective sub-processors.
7. Retention
- License records: kept for the duration of your license plus seven (7) years for tax / contract record-keeping.
- Email correspondence: kept for as long as needed to resolve the matter, generally up to two (2) years.
- Google Analytics: default Google Analytics 4 retention (14 months for event data unless you change it).
- Apache access logs: rotated by the hosting provider, typically 30–90 days.
8. Your rights
Subject to applicable law (GDPR for EU/EEA / UK residents; the Digital Personal Data Protection Act 2023 for Indian residents; other regional laws elsewhere), you may have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you.
- Request correction of inaccurate data.
- Request deletion (subject to our record-keeping obligations).
- Object to or restrict processing.
- Receive a portable copy of data you provided.
- Withdraw consent for any processing that relied on consent (this does not affect prior lawful processing).
- Lodge a complaint with your local data-protection authority.
To exercise any of these rights, email neo@genesispro.ai with the subject line “Privacy Request”. We will respond within thirty (30) days.
9. Security
We use HTTPS for the website and Update Site, store license records in access-controlled systems, and limit internal access to data on a need-to-know basis. No system is perfectly secure; if you discover a vulnerability, please email neo@genesispro.ai with subject “Security”.
10. Children
The Software is a professional ABAP-development tool intended for use by software engineers and SAP consultants. It is not directed at children under 16 and we do not knowingly collect data from them.
11. Changes to this policy
We may revise this policy from time to time. Material changes will be announced on this page with a new “Last updated” date and, where required by law, by direct notice to license holders.
